Senior .NET Application Support Lead - Remote Eligible

About The Role

This role leads the support and enhancement of enterprise applications built on SQL, ASP.NET Core Web API, Splunk, batch processes, and Entity Framework Core. You will guide the implementation of modern.NET Core technologies, ensure application stability and scalability, and drive best practices across development and support teams. The position requires strong technical leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and a focus on continuous improvement. In this role, you will:

• Lead support for applications using SQL, ASP.NET Core Web API, Splunk, batch processes, and Entity Framework Core.

• Oversee the implementation and adoption of.NET Core technologies to ensure scalable, high-performing applications.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members to improve productivity and quality.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project deliverables with business objectives.

• Monitor project and support activities to ensure timely delivery of software solutions.

• Implement software development best practices to improve efficiency and reduce defects.

• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that enhance application capabilities.

What you need to have to be considered:

• Knowledge of Incident Management and Problem Management processes.

• Experience supporting batch processes.

• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Control-M.

• Experience supporting .NET applications.

• Working knowledge of Splunk and Ansible.

This will help you stand out:

• Strong technical leadership experience in.NET Core environments.

• Ability to drive best practices and continuous improvement across teams.

• Experience evaluating and integrating new technologies into existing application ecosystems.

Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $65,447 to $117,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
