Responsibilities
The incumbent will assist in oleo sales and marketing activities under the supervision of the Regional Sales Manager to grow business revenues and profits.
Essential duties and responsibilities include:
- Assisting the Regional Sales Manager in sales forecasting, registration of new customers, sample request, specification matching, and other processes.
- Assisting in building and promoting strong, long-lasting customer relationships by promptly responding to their queries.
- Meeting performance objectives of the sales budget, focusing on gross profit, and monitoring throughout the month, reporting any deviations.
- Analyzing the current marketplace and providing feedback on important market and competitive information.
- Maintaining and expanding the client database within your assigned territory.
- Timely updating the customer visit report, activities, and business pipelines in the CRM (Customer Relation Management System).
Education/Experience
- A degree in Science/Engineering/Business/marketing with experience in sales and marketing of chemicals.
- A minimum of 2 years of commercial experience, preferably in the chemical industry.
- Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills; ability to influence and work in cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
