- In the first month, the engineer will learn about common customer frustrations and internal tools used by the support team.
- Within the first three months, they will make product suggestions to improve the developer experience and assist with onboarding.
- By the six-month mark, the engineer will identify key problem areas for developers and improve internal tools and dashboards.
- Within the first year, they will develop a strong intuition for troubleshooting and contribute significantly to the support process.
- The role includes mentoring and potentially hiring additional support engineers.
⚡ Requirements
- The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of experience in an engineering or technical role.
- They should have experience integrating and shipping RevenueCat in a mobile app.
- A solid understanding of the mobile development and release process is essential.
- Proficiency in either iOS (Swift / Objective-C) or Android (Java / Kotlin) is required.
- Strong debugging skills are necessary to identify issues with limited information.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are crucial for daily interactions with developers and colleagues.
- The candidate should demonstrate empathy for developers and their learning processes.
- A creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills are important for success in this role.
- The ability to overlap core working hours with Central Time Zone is expected.
