Project Engineer

Resource Innovations is seeking a Project Engineer to join our office in Chicago, IL. Partial telecommuting permitted up to 3 days/week.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Conducts site visits to verify installation and operation of new and replacement energy efficient equipment;
2. Writes technical reports summarizing the results of the energy analyses and recommends energy savings opportunities and incentive payments; works on the development of new energy efficiency measures.
3. Supports measurement and verification tasks to verify energy savings, utilizing tools such as Excel and Tableau for data analysis and visualization;
4. Performs and reviews energy savings analyses and building energy simulation modeling;
5. Performs technical reviews and analyzes energy performance metrics by calculating and reviewing energy savings achieved through energy-efficient equipment upgrades;
6. Assists contractors and customers to select appropriate energy efficiency equipment that would qualify for equipment rebates from the utility; Communicates and coordinates efficiently with various project stakeholders and participants including contractors and end customers.
7. Delivers monthly training sessions to educate customers on program updates and enhancements.
