Technical Support Engineer

As a Technical Support Engineer, you will closely collaborate with our sales team and key partners—including installers, wholesalers, and distributors—to provide expert product recommendations, solve technical issues, and conduct engaging training sessions. Your role will be crucial for ensuring customer satisfaction and supporting the success of our product portfolio.

On a daily basis, you will handle technical inquiries regarding the entire range of Resideo products, conduct product training for partners, co-create technical documentation, and support warranty processes.

We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer with a solid engineering background and documented experience in technical product support. Fluent Polish and good English proficiency in a technical environment are required, along with excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-oriented approach.

DUTIES:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and propose the most effective technical solutions for customer projects
  • Support wholesalers and partners in selecting the right products for new installations and investments
  • Conduct regular technical and system training for wholesalers, partners, customers, and the sales team
  • Act as a liaison between product management and sales by sharing case studies and presenting new system solutions
  • Manage and update the e-catalog, application guidelines, and installation instructions
  • Correct and, if necessary, translate technical and commercial materials such as videos, manuals, installation guides, technical specifications, websites, mobile apps, and marketing materials
  • Supervise and monitor service companies working with Resideo
  • Prepare procedures and guidelines for maintenance and system startup for service companies
  • Monitor quality issues and report findings to quality engineers and product managers
  • Provide technical support to installers and wholesalers via phone and email
  • Analyze and report on the most frequently asked technical questions about commercial products

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Documented experience in technical product support
  • Strong engineering background or relevant technical education
  • Fluent Polish and advanced English proficiency in a technical environment
  • Excellent computer skills, including advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

ADDITIONAL ASSETS:

  • Experience with HVAC products
  • Knowledge of the design/specification process or experience with software like Instalsoft or Sancom
  • Good understanding of customer needs and ability to deliver cost-effective and practical technical solutions
  • Experience in conducting product training sessions
