Key Account Manager OEM Heating - DACH
Resideo is looking for a dynamic and flexible Key Account Manager OEM Heating - DACH (m/f/d) to strengthen our market presence across and drive profitable revenue growth with key Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) customers in the heating and energy systems market across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. While the role offers flexibility, it is best suited for candidates located in North-West Germany or nearby regions.
This role owns full commercial responsibility for assigned OEM accounts, including revenue, gross margin, pricing strategy, and long‑term business development, while positioning the company as a strategic partner in the transition toward electrification, digitalization, and sustainable heating solutions.
The role combines strategic key account management, technical solution selling, and cross‑functional leadership to ensure customer satisfaction, share growth, and margin expansion.
Job Duties:
Commercial & Financial Ownership
- Own revenue and gross margin performance for assigned OEM accounts in the DACH region.
- Develop and execute account strategies and growth plans aligned with regional and global objectives.
- Manage pricing, contract negotiations, and commercial agreements to ensure profitability and long‑term value.
- Protect and expand the existing base business while identifying opportunities for new platforms, projects, and technologies.
Key Account Management
- Build and maintain senior‑level relationships within OEM organizations, including purchasing, engineering, R&D, operations, and executive leadership.
- Act as the single point of accountability for overall customer experience and business performance.
- Lead customer discussions on roadmaps, innovation, and future heating solutions, including electrification and hydrogen‑ready systems.
Growth & New Business Development
- Identify and win new business opportunities, including platform wins, design‑ins, and long‑term development projects.
- Translate customer needs into value‑based solutions, combining mechanical, electronic, and software offerings.
- Collaborate with product management and engineering to influence solution development and portfolio direction.
Cross‑Functional Leadership
- Coordinate internal teams (sales support, engineering, quality, supply chain, finance) to meet customer expectations.
- Ensure timely execution of projects, issue resolution, and continuous improvement in delivery and performance.
- Use Salesforce.com and internal tools to manage pipeline, forecasting, and account performance.
You Must Have:
- Proven experience in OEM key account management or strategic sales.
- Strong negotiation and commercial skills, with demonstrated ownership of revenue and margin targets.
- Experience managing large or complex OEM accounts.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in German and English.
- Comfortable working remotely with regular travel across the DACH region.
- Strong CRM proficiency, preferably Salesforce.com
- A full driving license
- Proven track record sales or account management experience in industrial, heating, HVAC, or energy markets.
- Experience selling mechanical, electronic, and software‑based solutions.
- Prior exposure to the heating industry, energy transition, electrification, or smart/connected systems.
- Knowledge of LAMP or comparable commercial methodologies is a plus.
- Strong ownership mentality with a clear focus on results and accountability.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to balance long‑term growth and short‑term execution.
- Customer‑centric, able to develop trusted advisor relationships.
- Comfortable navigating technically complex environments and decision‑making processes.
