This role sits within the Information Technology – System Services – Core Modernisation Transition team. This is a newly created opportunity to shape and embed the RBA's next-generation on-premises infrastructure services. The team is responsible for the transition and operationalisation of the new infrastructure platforms currently being implemented.

Reporting to the Infrastructure Practice Manager, this role requires deep expertise in on-premises infrastructure, including VMware, Windows Server, and Linux Server environments. You will apply DevOps principles, drive automation using PowerShell and Shell scripting, and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform. A strong focus on operational excellence, system reliability, and secure infrastructure delivery is essential.

Able to present complex technical data in a meaningful way to both business and IT stakeholders. Comfortable working across multiple disciplines in a large-scale enterprise environment. Experienced in supporting large-scale workload migrations. Provides constructive feedback and guidance to support team development and continuous improvement. Embraces a learning mindset and encourages innovation in systems and software lifecycle practices.
