The Senior Linux Systems Engineer is responsible for the technical architecture, planning, and implementation of enterprise Linux Systems across cloud, physical and virtual environments. The Senior Linux Systems Engineer evaluates and analyzes project requirements to determine feasibility for Linux deployments and develops specifications and action plans to implement new products to accommodate business needs. Responsibilities also include evaluating and supporting AWS services (EC2, EBS, ECS, RDS, VPC, IAM), systems and performance turning (kernel, web, databases), tier 3 level support and root cause analysis for Linux based servers and applications.
