Senior Software Engineer - Infrastructure

RentSpree is scaling fast, and our infrastructure needs to keep pace. We're seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Infrastructure) with expertise in public cloud, Kubernetes, networking, observability, and end-to-end project delivery. In this role, you'll lead complex initiatives, designing and delivering infrastructure that empowers product teams in our Seattle and Bangkok hubs to move quickly and confidently. Your work will directly improve scalability, reliability, and developer productivity as RentSpree continues to grow. This is a hybrid role based in Thailand, with access to our office in Bangkok.

What You'll Do

• Drive end-to-end initiatives that strengthen infrastructure security, scalability, usability, and reliability.
• Shape the future of our infrastructure standards, cloud architecture, and internal tooling.
• Research, explore, and experiment with new technologies and processes to support RentSpree's growth.
• Coach other engineers on infrastructure best practices, raising the bar for technical excellence across teams.
• Partner closely with product, data, and engineering teams to troubleshoot challenges and deliver solutions that keep the company moving forward.
• Own reliability by participating in our infrastructure on-call rotation and post-incident review sessions.

Skills You Bring

• Proven ability to drive projects end-to-end, coordinating across multiple stakeholders.
• Strong planning, task management, and delegation skills.
• Deep technical expertise in public cloud, Kubernetes, databases, Infrastructure as Code, and observability.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Bash, Kotlin, or TypeScript.
• Experience with CI/CD workflows, including pipelines, GitOps, ArgoCD, and Helm.
• Fluent in Thai with advanced English skills (speaking, writing, reading).
• Excellent communicator, able to align cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Positive, growth-oriented mindset, open to feedback, and eager to learn.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, iterative environments with evolving requirements.

• CI/CD Tools & Deployment: GitHub / GitHub Actions Runner, ArgoCD / Helm, Vault
• Monitoring & Observability: Datadog / OpenTelemetry
• Developer Tooling & Platform: Cortex IDP, Snyk for security
• Programming Language: JavaScript / TypeScript / Go / Kotlin
