Responsibilities And Duties

  • Responsibility for the sustainable leadership (technical and disciplinary leadership) and development of team members
  • Independently ensuring the timely and successful implementation of internal and external projects within budget and under applicable GMP conditions
  • Close cooperation with the respective group leader in all production and work-related directives
  • Implementation and compliance with occupational safety and hygiene regulations as well as quality standards
  • Initiation, leadership and engagement in change processes
  • Contribution to organizational development through optimization of processes and operations, quality management, efficiency improvement
  • Assessment of available analysis data and their interpretation with the derivation of necessary measures and their assurance
  • Independent coordination and synchronization of production teams
  • Interface management
  • Support of those responsible for customer audits, authority inspections, or process-specific questions
  • Participation in customer care as a representative of the production area (e.g., participation in customer meetings, production tours)

What We Value

  • Completed studies as an engineer or natural scientist in the field of bioprocess engineering, biotechnology, process engineering, mechanical engineering, or completed further education as a master craftsman/technician in the scientific or technical field or similar qualification
  • Professional experience in the biotechnological industry
  • Proven experience in the leadership, motivation, and development of employees
  • Communication skills, organizational talent, team capability, economic and analytical thinking and acting as well as assertiveness
  • Very good German and English skills
