Responsibilities

  1. Development and technical leadership of an interdisciplinary team of data engineers, data analysts, and data scientists
  2. Operation and further development of the data platform, architecture, and roadmap based on the requirements of the departments and the IT strategy
  3. Conception, implementation, and support of reports, data analyses, data science, and AI solutions
  4. Responsible design and development of data models, storage systems, and ETL pipelines
  5. Definition and establishment of a data governance framework and structures
  6. Ensuring comprehensive GxP-compliant documentation of the platform, data model, and solutions

Requirements

  • University degree in computer science, data analysis, or a comparable field
  • Several years of experience in the technical and architectural leadership of data projects
  • Advanced programming skills in SQL, Python, or PowerShell
  • In-depth experience in data analysis, data modeling, and visualization
  • Extensive experience in the management and architecture of data services in a BI and big data environment, preferably with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric, Delta Lake, and Azure DevOps
  • Experience in agile software development and the operation of ETL routes
  • Excellent organizational skills and project management skills
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Very good German and English language skills
