Ensuring team members provide quality and timely services as per scheduled
Carrying out regular quality assurance checks on completed services by spending 20% of available supervision time on quality assurance checks
Performing quarterly field attachment with team members
Preparing and presenting weekly reports on team members' review
Service
To maintain accurate records of all service vehicles in the branch in relation to:
Renewal of road tax
Maintenance service due
Repair costs
Fuel usage
Driver logs
To manage and control the Branch's fleet of service vehicles in a cost-effective manner, and without compromising on safety.
Ensuring all new businesses are completed within 10 working days from the date of service agreement/job confirmation.
Ensuring each service team is route-ridden once every 2 months.
Stocks
To present the service capital expenditure request each month to the Branch Manager for his attention and further action.
Administration
Ensuring that all required returns and reports to the head office are prepared accurately and dispatched promptly.
Conducting a formal meeting quarterly with Technicians.
Providing the Service Manager with status reports on a monthly basis covering:
State of Service
Customer Issues
Supervisor's issues
Other issues
Staff Recruitment, Welfare & Development
Recruiting (subject to prior approval from AOM) new Service Technicians.
Inducting, training, and managing service staff effectively.
Maintaining a high level of morale amongst your staff.
Ensuring that staff have a full understanding of the Company's objective and policies.
Quality Assurance & Training
Ensuring a high level of competence in the required skills amongst service staff by providing continuing training and practical assistance & guidance in the field.
Developing good customer relationships through being knowledgeable about your work, and taking ownership of service problems.
Ensuring that all customer complaints are attended to within 24 hours.
Ensuring that Service Supervisors' duties are audited monthly.
Ensuring that each Service Technician is audited at least once every 2 months.
Health & Safety
Ensuring that all chemicals are handled, stored, and applied with due regard to the safety standards laid down within the Company, and that staff are never exposed to untoward risks in the course of their work.
Ensuring that all service vehicles are roadworthy & safe through a monthly inspection.
Constantly projecting, by personal example, Good & Safe Working Practices within the Branch.
Other Duties
Maintaining friendly and cooperative relations with the sales team providing sales lead, and other useful feedback from the customer.
Supporting the sales team in achieving the sales targets for the branch.
Constantly improving his/her knowledge of pest management by private study, membership of associations, attendance at courses, and also by the study of technical literature provided by the Company, and through practical experience in the field.
