Renishaw is looking for a Support Analyst to join our IT Operations team, reporting to the Service Desk team leader. By providing and maintaining secure, available and efficient systems and equipment, IT Operations supports and enables our global employees to develop innovative solutions and technology for our customers. The Support Analyst will be at the heart of a busy and friendly department, working on a range of activities that support our company and help us to deliver well, having opportunities to grow and develop their own experience and technical skills.
The successful candidate will provide support for Windows 10 & 11 PCs on both desktop and mobile PC hardware (along with the applications installed on them) and also print devices that include both laser and thermal image transfer devices.
Renishaw uses a variety of PC applications including MS Office 365, Visio, and Project etc. along with many more engineering specific applications.
The successful candidate will have an enthusiastic approach to work and learning new skills. They will hold excellent communication skills both verbally and written and will be able to communicate clearly with all employees. They will require good problem-solving skills with the ability to think problems through in a logical manner.
