We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage the company's incoming payments, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure timely collection from clients. The role requires strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills, with a focus on delivering excellent service to both internal teams and external customers.

Accountabilities

• Prepare and issue accurate customer invoices in accordance with contracts and agreed terms
• Monitor outstanding balances, follow up with clients regarding overdue accounts, and ensure timely receipt of payments
• Record and allocate incoming payments accurately to customer accounts
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
• Generate accounts receivable aging reports, cash collection forecasts, and other financial reports as required
• Respond to client inquiries regarding invoices, statements, and payment issues
• Maintain organized records of invoices, receipts, and communications with clients
• Identify opportunities to improve billing, collection, and reporting processes
• Work closely with sales, project, and finance teams to ensure accurate customer account management
• Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
• Oversee and provide guidance to the Accounts Receivable Clerks, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and accurately

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong experience in accounts receivable, billing, or credit control
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and receivables processes
• Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and MS Excel
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of Spanish is a plus
