Front Desk Agent/Guest Service Agent

The Wine Valley Inn in Solvang is hiring a full-time Front Desk Agent/Guest Service Agent. Qualified applicants will have excellent and clear communication skills with a passion for customer service in a hotel setting. Candidate must be able to work weekends and must be flexible to work AM and PM shifts.

Qualifications: • Up-beat pleasant personality with an ability to assist a wide variety of personalities • Ability to multi task: answer phones, greet guests, direct people • A good knowledge of area to assist guest with driving directions, restaurant recommendations, shopping, wineries and breweries in area, transportation, etc. • Flexible schedule.

Responsibilities: • Greeting guests with a smile upon arrival or departure • Answering telephones, taking reservations, directions • Cashiering and Concierge services • Ability to fulfill guests requests such as wake up calls, forgotten amenities • Ability to listen to guest concerns and document any maintenance issues or special requests brought to your attention.

Rate of pay is $20 along with great group health benefits, sick pay, vacation pay, holiday pay, and 401k plan with matching!
