This position requires you to work on-site three times a week (Tue to Thu).
You will lead, manage, and mentor a group of Designers and Design Technical Specialist(s). We expect you to lead a team with members who possess diverse skill sets and have similar overall objectives. Typically leads other individual contributors and at times leads other people leaders.
Your responsibilities will also include:
You will directly oversee activities of Engine/Vehicle Designers and Design Technical Specialists to carry out day to day operations of Computer-aided Design. Work closely with GEDO leadership to precisely execute designs on time and participate in departmental meetings. You will work with other Operations Groups, Program and Product Teams. Attend Business meetings as required. Furnish day-to-day Design/Records & Release interfaces. Work with Analysis groups and ensure on time delivery of designs. You will work on data integrity/quality, Work Order visibility. You will audit performance to tasks, ensure tasks are complete and processes are followed. Establish workload priorities, workload Balancing. Ensure consistency to Timing Plan. Be a forward-thinking regarding Design role in the organization. You will provide solutions to issues and implement solutions. Investigate, research and pilot proposed changes. You will work hand in hand with global counterparts and participate in harmonization activities. You will collaborate with Suppliers, Advanced Design, Balance Architecture and Vehicle Design groups and others partners that collaborate with the group. Work with Methods & Processes group to continually investigate opportunities to improve effectiveness and efficiency of the processes. Translate business objectives to actionable deliverables for your work group. Execute and support GM initiatives. Perform Human Resource Management activities. You will mentor, coach and develop employees and their careers as well as model and champion desired core values and behaviors.
Engineering graduation completed. Deep experience and knowledge on softwares: NX / TcAE / VisMockup. English advanced level. Active CREA.
Post-Graduation preferred. Leadership Experience.
