Project Coordinator

GovCIO is seeking a project coordinator. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, highly visible team that is focused on forward-learning solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform. This customer-facing role will be instrumental in ensuring customer satisfaction. This position will be fully remote within the United States.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a project coordinator with demonstrated expertise in ServiceNow and government contracting experience. The ideal candidate will bring at least 5 years of hands-on experience, a strong understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities, and a proven track record of supporting federal clients. The responsibilities include:

• Coordinates interdepartmental participation to meet project requirements.
• Maintains lines of communication among project team members.
• May be responsible for risk management.
• Reports project progress to management.
• Arranges logistics for meetings, conferences, training, and other project-related events.
• Organizes project committee meetings and prepares the necessary materials, including reports, presentations, agendas, and other meeting collateral.
• Transcribes and records key decisions and action items resulting from meetings.
• Gathers, compiles, and reports on information relevant to the project.
• Manages work for the team in Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow and leverages Agile methodologies to effectively run projects.

Qualifications

Required skills and experience include:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related scientific/technical discipline.
• 8 years of experience in IT.
• 4 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, modules, and workflows.
• Familiarity with government contracting processes, compliance, and documentation standards.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow is a must to manage and track day-to-day activities for a variety of different project types.
• Experience with leveraging Agile methodologies to effectively run projects.
• Ability to pull reports in ServiceNow.
• Ability to navigate ServiceNow and create manual test scripts or user guides.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

Clearance required: Must be able to obtain a DHS Public Trust.
