The Senior Director, IT Application & Services Capability Lead will help create and foster a culture of diversity & inclusion and must be a self-motivated individual with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in team environments. The Senior Director, IT Application & Services Capability Lead is accountable for overall mobilization, leadership, operations management and service delivery for all IT applications in the non-clinical space of all Market Performance Partnerships at Optum. This role will work collaboratively with other leaders to build a managed services delivery team running the non-clinical applications of multiple hospital systems. The position will be responsible for leading efforts to standardize, optimize, and drive efficiency across client hospital systems. This position is responsible for leveraging technology solutions to enable delivery transformation that aligns hospital systems with a standard delivery platform and approach. Reporting to the SVP, Health Systems CIO, success depends on driving efficiency, effective partnership, influence, and collaboration across various functions of Optum Insight, including but not limited to: Account Leadership, Operations, Product, Managed Services, Professional Services, Technology Solutions, Compliance, Marketing, Finance, and People teams. You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy, managed services operations, design-thinking experience, a big picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

• 10+ years of HealthCare technology leadership experience with at least five of those years working directly with systems and four years resource management and/or large-scale project management
• 5+ years designing and mobilizing global teams that deliver IT managed services across multiple large scale enterprise business units or client organizations
• 5+ years of experience leading and executing on complex IT managed services delivery (including oversight of strategy/technical roadmap, financials/budget, contracts, and client relationships)
• 5+ years of experience with successfully implementing and supporting highly scalable technology solutions for clients
• Willing and able to travel up to 25%
• Advanced degree, an MBA or master's degree in information assurance/technology, health administration, data science or healthcare
• Experience influencing, problem solving and negotiation skills
• Experience managing delivery teams with gross margin targets
• Proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
• Proven track record as a team leader with an understanding of management practices
• Demonstrated success building relationships and accomplishing common goals for clients
• Demonstrated excellent team management, communication and leadership skills and a commitment to fostering diversity, inclusion, and a culture of innovation

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $156,400 to $268,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
