The Chief of Staff (CoS) serves as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to the NA VP of Sales and Salesforce Practice, driving across complex initiatives and ensuring that priorities are executed effectively. Acting as a force multiplier, the CoS streamlines decision-making, manages cross-functional relationships, and translates vision into action. This role combines strategic planning, operational excellence, and executive communication, orchestrating the rhythm of the business to keep leadership and teams focused on what matters most.
Serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner to the executive. Executing business priorities. Getting things done, working with leaders and partners across the globe. Prepare executive for key meetings (briefing materials, talking points, anticipated questions). Act as a sounding board for strategy, messaging, and org design. Ensure the executive's priorities cascade effectively to the org.
Coordinate content for Global SKO for Salesforce Global Practice. Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives that don't fit neatly in one team. Identify risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities across the business. Translate strategy into operational execution plans.
Manage the annual operating cadence (bi-weekly DR, quarterly SLT, QBR, ELT, All Hands). Streamline reporting frameworks so the executive sees clear, actionable data. Build mechanisms for accountability and follow-through across initiatives.
Act as a bridge between the executive and the leadership team. Align stakeholders across functions. Represent the executive in meetings when they cannot attend. Resolve conflicts and ensure dependencies are managed.
Shape executive communications (org announcements, strategy updates, culture messages). Drive employee engagement (all-hands, skip-levels, recognition programs). Support organizational design and talent planning. Mentor and develop high-potential team members tapped for special projects.
Partner with communications leader for external strategic messaging. Taking points on external interviews.
Run SVP or VP-sponsored initiatives that require discretion and speed. Stand up "tiger teams" to address urgent business issues. Lead transformation workstreams. Own confidential projects (e.g., restructuring planning, board prep).
10+ years' experience in consulting or IT services in Sales operations, or a Chief of Staff role. 1+ years' experience and a strong understanding of GenAI and AI technologies for the Salesforce industry.
Prefer at least one or more Salesforce certifications. Prefer experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Salesforce Service Cloud, Salesforce Experience Cloud, and Salesforce Analytics Cloud. Strong industry expertise and experience with industry-aligned organizations. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence client executives, sales teams, and internal stakeholders. Proactive and results-oriented mindset, able to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Attributes include strategic thinking, teamwork, ability to influence, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a high level of professionalism, and strong attention to detail.
