Design System Expert

We are seeking a hands-on Design System expert to join our digital design team. This person will be someone that thrives in the details of tokens, variables, component architecture, and Figma execution. Responsibilities include building and maintaining tokens, creating scalable, reusable components, translating brand and functional user interface designs into systemized variables, partnering with engineering on naming conventions, running visual QA for system-level components, and participating in design system sprint cycles.

Skills and requirements include 5+ years of experience within UI/UX/product design, 2+ recent years focused on building enterprise design systems from scratch, experience building design systems at scale (B2C applications, e-commerce, enterprise), expert level experience within FIGMA, extensive knowledge of design tokens, semantic layers, and component modularity, experience with Token Studio, Style Dictionary, or other token tooling pipelines, and prior enterprise experience in QSR, retail, or high-growth digital teams.
