Principal Specialist, Mfg/Ops

Our Mission Systems Business is looking for a Principal Specialist, Mfg/Ops that can be located anywhere in the US being a remote role. Here you will be a key focal for Mission Systems transformation for their Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and help drive alignment, requirements, and adoption for the One Collins solution.

What You Will Do:

  • Support Mission Systems on the MES governance council, workshops, and other activities related to enterprise MES solution design and roadmap
  • Work closely with sites on requirements gathering to help transition from existing MES solutions (e.g. CSI/eView) to Solumina
  • Project Management: utilize subject matter expertise and implementation experience to help guide sites implementing Solumina through required activities
  • Work with sites and Mission Systems adoption lead to implement Solumina and increase adoption
  • Calculate and flow up financial information (investment and value) through DPLC program
  • Business process support related to MES

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
  • Experience with Solumina G8
  • Experience with Solumina implementation
  • Experience with shop floor processes
  • Experience with SAP

  • Change Management/Project Management Experience
  • Experience with MRO Process

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
