Philanthropy Gift Processing Coordinator
PeaceHealth is seeking a Philanthropy Gift Processing Coordinator. This remote role requires the incumbent to work and reside in OR, WA or AK and be willing to travel to meet with donor, foundations or any other business need that requires individual to be on site. The Philanthropy Gift Processing Coordinator is responsible for daily donation processing, generating financial transaction reports, generating donor tax and thank you correspondence and ensuring the data integrity of The Raiser's Edge constituent database. The focus of the position will be to ensure that donor gifts are recorded accurately and in a timely manner. The coordinator will work in partnership with finance and other members of the operations and prospect management team to ensure seamless engagement between teams and the foundations.
What you will enjoy:
- Records donor gifts into the constituent database with a careful attention to gift and donor details.
- Coordinates pledge process by recording pledges accurately and ensuring that pledge schedules meet donor intentions. Prepares pledge reminder notices, and works with foundation teams on past-due pledge payment process.
- Maintains confidentiality due to sensitive constituent information relative to gift processing. Safeguards constituent information at all times.
- In partnership with manager and finance team, makes gift adjustments as needed and help with gift reconciliation on a regular basis.
- Runs regular audit and data clean-up functions and make sure that gift and constituent data is current and up to date. This includes running and developing database queries and reports.
- Ensures acknowledgement letters, receipts and tribute notifications are properly created and disbursed to intended recipient groups.
- Works with members of the local fundraising teams to pass on relevant and timely gift and donor information as part of the gift processing and recording function.
- Works with members of the finance team to update credit card information and donation schedule for monthly sustainer donors.
- Creates and maintains gift entry process and procedure material for all critical functions and workflows for gift entry and reporting.
- Works with stewardship team on notification processes and procedures for honor/memorial gifts including clinicians and donor families.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
What you will bring:
- High School Diploma Required
- Minimum of 1 year professional experience in a fundraising environment, including operational, financial, and database expertise.
- Advanced computer skills; experience with database systems, particularly data management, report generation, selection criteria and data analysis; well versed in query and report design.
- Knowledge of Raiser's Edge database program preferred.
- Strong written communication skills to prepare, proofread, and edit a variety of correspondence and reports for correct grammar, punctuation, spelling and syntax with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to research, analyze, and gather data to prepare concise, logical summaries and reports across a variety of topics.
- Strong organizational and time management skills and meticulous attention to detail; the ability to set, negotiate, and meet priorities and produce high-quality work under multiple deadline pressure and within a busy environment.
- Ability to work in a matrixed complex business environment while maintaining effective working relationships with stakeholders and collaborators across the organization.

- Strong computer skills with ability to gather and synthesize data to prepare effective, logical and accurate reports.
- Proficient with relational databases preferred.
- Proficient computer skills in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Proficient in Internet research.
- Excellent customer service skills.

The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $23.18 – $34.72.
