Node.js Engineer - Remote - Remote Eligible

Our healthcare insurance client is looking to hire a Node.js Developer for a remote one-year contract. This will be a remote work from home position. They will be joining the Digital Engineering Organization, which is responsible for the secure member portal web and mobile platform that allows health plan members to interact with their health benefits. They will be working on a new project to migrate an existing on-prem service (and data) to AWS. This task will include standing up a new node service running in AWS to expose membership information (duplicating the existing on-prem API), ingesting data extracted from a mainframe DB2 database, and will include some performance testing along with typical QA to ensure we can meet front-end response targets.
