Mid-to-Senior Backend / Cloud Engineer / Node.js / AWS / Remote

Our client who is a startup in the entertainment space is looking for a backend Node.js / Cloud Engineer to join the team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing startup as they continue expanding the reach across North America. This will be a 1099 contract with the ability to convert to FTE at as early as six months. This company provides accessibility for Spanish speakers across the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico, to allow them to enjoy a movie theater experience. They are partnered with thousands of movie theaters currently and continue expanding on that selection.

Required Skills & Experience

• Working experience with Node.js and TypeScript for microservice development.
• Experience with AWS and its suite of tools (Lambdas, EC2, CloudFormation, ECS).
• AWS networking experience (VPC, API Gateway, Load Balancers, etc.).
• Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure (CloudWatch preferred).

Desired Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience within the media/entertainment industry.
• Experience within startup environments.

What You Will Be Doing

Tech Breakdown: ~50% backend development, ~50% cloud/infrastructure.

Daily Responsibilities: 100% hands on.
