As an HR Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in managing recruiting activities and establishing candidate relationships, often providing candidates with their first impression of the company. Responsibilities include: scheduling interviews and phone screens, working directly with technical candidates and hiring managers; arranging travel for visiting candidates when necessary; updating candidate records in recruiting systems and meeting candidates during on-site interviews; keeping recruiters informed of candidate issues and providing follow-up correspondence on recruiting status via phone and email; tracking recruiting activities and providing candidate status reports to recruiters; coordinating scheduling of post-interview debrief meetings and providing debrief materials; collaborating with recruiters to improve candidate experience and scheduling efficiency; and assisting in the coordination of other recruiting activities as needed.
Essential skills include strong customer service skills with a demonstrated desire to exceed expectations; excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface with all levels of the organization and external candidates; problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues independently and drive them to closure with minimal supervision; great organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously; flexibility to change direction quickly and comfort in a fast-paced environment and dealing with ambiguity; and a solid sense of accountability and acute personal judgment, with the ability to handle confidential information and escalate issues when appropriate.
Additional skills and qualifications include previous recruiting coordinator experience or equivalent, scheduling experience, and previous work in reception, customer service, and/or coordinating.
The pay range for this position is $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
