Sales Marketing Manager

Our client, a music marketplace for independent artists, is looking for a strategic, organized, and culturally fluent freelance Sales Marketing Manager to craft compelling narratives, build go-to-market strategies, and drive revenue through integrated B2B marketing campaigns.

This role will be part time, around 25 hours per week for the next 8 weeks with potential to extend. Remote is fine for the right candidate, but the client would prefer someone who can come onsite to their Brooklyn, NY office once per week.

The Sales Marketing Manager will:

• Create impactful sales materials: Develop pitch decks, toolkits, case studies, and positioning frameworks that win business.
• Lead strategic proposals: Respond to RFPs and craft multi-product offerings for top-tier brands.
• Drive B2B marketing: Plan and execute activations, events, and LinkedIn content for brand and agency audiences.
• Collaborate across teams: Partner with Sales, Creative, Product, and Marketing to deliver cohesive, insight-driven storytelling.
• Manage operations: Keep sales assets organized and oversee multiple projects with precision.

The Sales Marketing Manager has:

• 5+ years in sales marketing, integrated marketing, or brand partnerships (media, entertainment, or tech).
• Expert in narrative development and deck creation.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and project management skills.
• Bonus: Experience in music/culture marketing and branded content.
