To ensure accurate and timely processing, validation, and reconciliation of freight and administrative invoices, with a strong focus on financial integrity, compliance with internal work instructions, and alignment with corporate accounting practices. This position plays a critical role in supporting the month-end close process by preparing journal entries, maintaining cost allocation records, and providing detailed financial reports. The role also involves close coordination with internal teams to ensure proper approvals, account classifications, and resolution of invoice discrepancies. Additionally, it requires effective communication and documentation to support audits, inquiries, and continuous process improvements.
Validate weekly freight invoices and process entries in the E-Pay system.
Reclassify freight and administrative costs from prepaid to appropriate expense accounts through journal entries in SAP.
Manage monthly fleet invoices, validate data, allocate costs via Access database, and post reclassifications.
Prepare and post journal entries related to freight, administration fees, and month-end adjustments.
Compile and distribute monthly reports including freight consolidations, reclassifications, and reconciliations.
Support month-end closing activities by generating final reports and coordinating with internal teams on reclassifications.
Respond to inquiries and provide documentation to support payment allocations, account details, and audit requests.
Maintain accurate records by updating tracking logs, saving documentation, and ensuring compliance.
Travel is up to 10%.
