✨ About The Role
- Lead the hardware development of the Remora mobile carbon capture device from concept to production
- Drive research and development of hardware systems in partnership with subject matter experts and suppliers
- Generate requirements, provide design direction, and ensure design deliverables meet aggressive timelines
- Mentor and guide less experienced team members in design and decision-making processes
- Collaborate with other members of the Engineering team, lead design reviews, and develop testing plans for system validation and production release
⚡ Requirements
- Experienced mechanical engineer with a minimum of 5-8 years in the industry, preferably with large-scale systems experience
- Strong leadership skills and ability to mentor and guide a team of engineers in a fast-paced R&D environment
- Comfortable working with suppliers and driving them to meet aggressive timelines
- Thrives in a mission-driven, high-intensity work environment with a focus on innovation and excellence
- Enthusiastic about learning and adapting to novel technologies and integrating them into complex systems
