About the Role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to contribute to the research, design, development, and testing of software components within a product area. You will work on defined projects, solve technical challenges, and help build reliable, high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members and technical stakeholders to clarify requirements.
• Design, develop, and unit-test software components of moderate complexity.
• Review and contribute to technical specifications and design documentation.
• Apply development best practices, including code reviews and testing standards.
• Work effectively in different development environments (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and defects.
• Stay current with emerging tools, technologies, and practices.
• Perform additional responsibilities that support team and project goals.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in software engineering or a related field.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency with data manipulation and understanding of data modeling principles.
• Experience with complex data models and data storage systems.
• Proficiency in one or more development languages (e.g., Java/J2EE, JavaScript, C/C++, .NET, HTML, XML, SQL).
• Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows and UNIX.
• Understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Knowledge of test-driven development and code quality practices.
• Ability to contribute to and review technical specifications.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a variety of teams.
