This position on the Data Development team performs complex research, design, and software development assignments that include turning raw data into a format that's easily digestible for the query portion along with data analytics and quality checks.
This role will include extracting, loading, cleansing, translating, manipulating, analyzing, linking and indexing massive amounts of data utilizing cutting edge technology and techniques. This position will have the opportunity to work alongside talented colleagues with a variety of skills and business/industry content knowledge and will collaborate closely with internal business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver a product experience that aims to exceed customer expectations.
• Complete testing of new development and bug fixes. • Work closely with other development team members and Business to understand product requirements and translate them testing procedures.
• Operate in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) • Resolve technical issues as necessary.
• BS Engineering/Computer Science experience required and equivalent work experience in Software Engineering • Understanding of data manipulation languages – SSIS, SQL, etc • Ability to work with simple data models and familiarity with various data formats
• Proficiency in Java
• Understanding of languages including but not limited to: Python, Korn Shell, etc
• Familiar with Unix/Linux servers and commands
• Experience working with Git – GitLab/GitHub. • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
U.S. National Base Pay Range: $58,000 - $96,700. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates. This job is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
