Our team work across multiple agile software engineering teams, supporting developers, testers, and product owners. You'll be part of a collaborative environment where your contributions help shape the architecture and performance of our products.

About the Role

We're looking for a collaborative and curious professional to help us improve the transparency and efficiency of our data systems. This role focuses on understanding and documenting data models, optimizing data pipelines, and exploring emerging AI-assisted development tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze existing data pipelines, processes, and products to identify and understand embedded data models.
• Use tools like GitHub Copilot and Agentic AI to accelerate learning and documentation of data models within code.
• Collaborate with data engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure documentation reflects both business needs and technical realities.
• Design and implement processes that maintain clear, accurate documentation of models, metadata, and lineage—enhancing transparency, discoverability, and governance.
• Troubleshoot and optimize data pipelines, contributing to continuous improvement.
• Stay informed about emerging AI-assisted development tools and share recommendations to improve team productivity and efficiency.

Skills & Experience

• Experience in data engineering, data development, or similar roles (typically 5+ years).
• Proficiency in SQL, Java, Python, and data pipeline tools (e.g., Spark, Apache Airflow).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (preferably Azure) and modern data stack tools.
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Agentic AI.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and documentation abilities.
• A growth mindset and willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
