About the Role

The sales support executive provides operational support to the sales team by coordinating projects, improving processes, and supporting tools that enable an effective sales function. You will help maintain accurate sales activity data, contribute to performance reporting, and support continuous improvement of sales operations. The role is well suited to someone developing their professional experience, with opportunities to build skills, solve routine problems, and apply established processes with guidance from more experienced colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Support the sales team in delivering revenue across events and sponsorship offerings
  • Manage and maintain event floorplans, including space allocation, inventory accuracy, and updates
  • Coordinate technical seminar scheduling and related administrative support
  • Partner with sales to support account activity from early engagement through delivery
  • Maintain accurate records and data to support sales activity and reporting
  • Document and follow clear, consistent processes to support team efficiency
  • Identify opportunities to improve client experience and add value
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution and fulfillment

Requirements

  • Clear and effective communication skills, with a collaborative approach
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience supporting sales, events, or client-facing operations (preferred but not essential)
  • Familiarity with sales processes, account support, or customer service practices
  • Comfortable working with data, systems, and basic reporting tools
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Willingness to learn and build knowledge of products, markets, and customers
  • Team-oriented mindset with a focus on shared goals and outcomes
