Sales Manager, Korea
The Sales Manager, Korea is responsible for accelerating growth in the Korean health market by driving adoption and sales of e-health information, decision support, and education solutions. This role focuses on expanding our footprint across hospitals, medical and nursing schools, group practices, libraries, and other clinical institutions, in alignment with our global sales strategy. The Commercial Manager oversees the full sales cycle—engaging both existing clients and new prospects—while upholding high professional standards and autonomy.

Responsibilities:
- Build, coach, and lead a high-performing sales team through strategic hiring and continuous talent development.
- Design and execute long-term business growth strategies to ensure sustainable market expansion.
- Drive direct sales of health solutions, managing pipelines and delivering accurate forecasts monthly, quarterly, and annually.
- Consistently achieve individual and team sales targets across all reporting periods.
- Monitor sales performance against targets, identify gaps or opportunities, and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain deep knowledge of assigned territories, accounts, and customer needs.
- Cultivate direct relationships with end-users, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and C-level stakeholders.
- Develop and execute short- and long-term sales strategies, including quarterly performance reviews.
- Align product sales strategies with market needs and business goals, in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Recruit top talent and ensure smooth onboarding to build a strong, capable team.
- Provide ongoing coaching, set clear performance goals, and deliver regular feedback to foster continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with APAC/global functional teams, local content teams, and marketing to ensure consistent value delivery.
- Oversee customer onboarding and activation, ensuring seamless access to products and services.
- Optimize access methods, balancing legacy systems with innovative solutions to meet diverse customer needs.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience with a university degree or higher; healthcare industry exposure is a plus.
- Strong grasp of sales and marketing principles, including sales cycle management and KOL engagement.
- Proven success in direct sales, commercial strategy development, and partnership building.
- Results-driven, with decision-making grounded in clear metrics.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills; experienced in international matrix environments.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills in both Korean and English.
- Strong networking capabilities, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels, including government officials.
- Advanced value-based selling expertise, especially with software, medical equipment, or institutional information solutions.
- Deep understanding of the healthcare market and emerging trends in electronic products and solutions.
- Agile, proactive, and open to innovation; consistently exceeds expectations.
- Flexible, hands-on, and enthusiastic, with a positive "can-do" attitude.
- Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in CRM/Salesforce and data-driven decision-making.
