Data Engineer
This position performs moderate research, design, and data engineering assignments within a specific engineering functional area or product line.
Responsibilities include owning specific sets or groups of data transfers, interfacing with other technical personnel, producing code that adheres to best practices, writing and reviewing detailed specifications, completing data engineering bug fixes, identifying opportunities for automation, working closely with other development team members, participating in development processes, overseeing specific database management, and operating in various development environments.
Requirements include experience in data management, file management skills, ability to work with data models, proficiency in development languages, strong knowledge of data manipulation languages, knowledge of analytical solutions, knowledge of version control systems, knowledge of industry best practices, knowledge of software development methodologies, ability and desire to learn new processes, strong problem solving skills, attention to detail, and strong oral and written communications skills.
