✨ About The Role
- Develop assemblies for the fuel and oxidizer turbopumps of the Aeon-R and Aeon-R Vac engines
- Collaborate with propulsion development and manufacturing teams to incorporate improvements into future designs
- Thrive in ambiguity and drive projects to completion, working on challenging issues unique to rocket turbopumps
- Work at the interfaces of design, development, and analysis of turbomachinery
- Provide design feedback, develop new manufacturing methods, and build engine and vehicle hardware for testing prior to launch
⚡ Requirements
- Experience in aerospace engineering or a related technical field with at least 3 years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of GD&T and project management skills
- Ability to investigate and resolve hardware non-conformances and drive corrective actions
- Proficiency in manufacturing processes such as fluids testing, machining, and additive manufacturing
- Experience with turbopump assembly procedures and design feedback to improve product manufacturability
