- The role involves developing and managing manufacturing workflows, BOMs, work instructions, and specifications to ensure smooth production processes.
- Candidates will analyze and resolve manufacturing discrepancies, collaborating with the quality team on root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- The engineer will own the full manufacturing lifecycle for assigned projects, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams for timely delivery.
- Providing engineering support for design and process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness is a key responsibility.
- Participation in design reviews to offer insights on manufacturability and ensure alignment with production capabilities is expected.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, engineering, and leadership, to align manufacturing strategies with business objectives is essential.
⚡ Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field is required.
- Candidates should have experience with GD&T and possess 3D & 2D design/drafting skills, preferably in NX.
- Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action is essential for this role.
- Familiarity with advanced manufacturing techniques, such as additive manufacturing or automation, is a plus.
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles or certification in continuous improvement methodologies would be beneficial.
- Proficiency with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle for managing production workflows and inventory is desirable.
- Understanding of industry-specific standards or regulations, such as ISO 9001 or AS9100, is advantageous.
