- The role involves leading the Avionics Integration Engineering team responsible for system-level electrical and harness design.
- Collaboration with partners in electrical design, propulsion, and fluids is required to define system-level electrical requirements.
- The position includes designing avionics harnessing and supporting secondary structures.
- Drafting and executing system and vehicle level integration and test plans and procedures is a key responsibility.
- The team works on complex electrical systems that require modularity and flexibility, critical for the successful launch of Terran R.
⚡ Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related field is required.
- At least 5 years of experience in an electromechanical design or integration engineering role is essential.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience leading a team of engineers is necessary for this position.
- Experience in writing and executing system or vehicle level integration and test campaigns for complex systems is a plus.
- Basic programming skills for automation or data analysis would be beneficial.
- Familiarity with tools for electrical troubleshooting, such as power supplies and oscilloscopes, is advantageous.
- Experience with 3D CAD software and electrical/harness design software is preferred.
- Demonstrated project ownership and accountability with complex, multi-disciplinary technical projects is important.
