Market Access Manager
We are seeking a talented and driven Market Access Manager to join our distribution business at Mediplast. In this key position, you will be based at our headquarters in Malmö, Sweden and will be responsible for a team of 10 people. You will lead product management and marketing initiatives, ensuring the successful launch and ongoing management of our distribution product portfolio across international markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Management Leadership: Lead and manage the product management process for the distribution product portfolio, overseeing development, launch, and lifecycle management.
- Marketing & Portfolio Development: Develop and execute marketing strategies to support and grow the distribution portfolio, ensuring optimal alignment with market needs and sales objectives.
- Team Management: Directly supervise the product management and marketing team and manage the complete employee lifecycle.
- Sales Support: Ensure the team provides first-class support to the sales process, driving successful sales outcomes for the distribution business.
- Strategic Market Planning: Lead and support the creation of strategic market plans for distribution products, working closely with sales teams to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
- Supplier Evaluation: Monitor and guide the team in evaluating suppliers relevant to the distribution business.
- Tender & Contract Management: Oversee the team's work on tenders, sales support, and documentation related to distribution products.
- Brand & Communication: Collaborate on the implementation of the Mediplast Brand and Communication Plan as it pertains to distribution products. Oversee related communication tools such as the Mediplast website and social media channels.
About You
We are looking for a highly commercial, results-oriented leader with a strong background in international marketing, market access, and distribution business. You have a sharp business acumen and excel at identifying and seizing new commercial opportunities on an international scale. As a strategic yet hands-on professional, you are comfortable balancing operational execution with long-term planning. You have substantial experience in leading and developing high-performing teams, as well as launching and managing products across international markets. A key part of your expertise lies in working closely with suppliers and evaluating partnerships to strengthen the distribution portfolio. Your in-depth understanding of the distribution business enables you to drive portfolio development, execute effective marketing strategies, and deliver first-class support to sales. With your excellent communication skills and commercial mindset, you are an inspiring partner for both internal and external stakeholders, passionate about driving growth and profitability through innovative, market-driven solutions.
Other Requirements
- Relevant degree, preferably in business administration, sales/marketing, or healthcare.
- Proven experience in sales and product management, with a strong understanding of the Medtech industry and distribution business models.
- Knowledge of medical device regulations and statutory requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams in an international environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience managing brand and digital communication channels.
- Business English is required for this role.
- Ability to travel as required for the role.
