Private Wealth Management Trust Support Administrator
At Regions, the Private Wealth Management Trust Support Administrator will oversee the administration of Individually Managed Accounts (IMA), Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA), custody, trust, and estate, ensuring account administration follows the fiduciary procedures.
Primary Responsibilities
- Conducts initial and annual administrative and compliance reviews for clients in conjunction with the assigned Trust or Wealth Advisor
- Supplies Portfolio Manager with documentation of non-standard asset reviews for annual investment reviews
- Leads the investment review exceptions clearance process
- Remains abreast of industry trends to ensure prudent administration and investment management
- Facilitates the non-discretionary distribution process, communicating with Trust or Wealth Advisors when necessary
- Facilitates the discretionary distribution process with shared approval authority, communicating with Trust Advisors when necessary
- Prepares all discretionary action requests for working group review, including but not limited to, account acceptance and termination, non-standard asset acceptance and retention, trust modifications, trust loan approvals and real estate improvements
- Supports fee set up, and daily cash management
- Completes Generation Skipping Tax (GST) worksheet and determines GST coding for new trust accounts
- Supports Trust or Wealth Advisors' retention and expansion of trust and investment management clients
- Takes responsibility for ensuring all accounts comply with applicable internal procedures
- May take responsibility for providing guidance to less experienced administrators
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD), however this position will not be authorized to practice law on behalf of Regions Bank, and four (4) years of Trust Administration, Estate/Tax Law, Financial Planning, Investment or related experience
- Or Master of Business Administration (MBA) and four (4) years of Trust Administration, Estate/Tax Law, Financial Planning, Investment or related experience
- Or Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) and four (4) years of Trust Administration, Estate/Tax Law, Financial Planning, Investment or related experience
- Or Bachelor's degree in related field and five (5) years of Trust Administration, Estate/Tax Law, Financial Planning, Investment or related experience
- Or High School Diploma/GED and nine (9) years of Trust Administration, Estate/Tax Law, Financial Planning, Investment or related experience
Skills and Competencies
- Ability to create successful partnerships with Trust and Wealth Advisors and other key team members
- Ability to learn additional systems as needed
- Ability to research, analyze data, and derive facts
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
- Proficient in FileNet, eSign, Adobe
- Strong knowledge of risk management and fiduciary principles and processes
- Strong knowledge of trust principles and regulatory and tax matters relating to the administration of trust accounts
- Strong record-keeping skills
- Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills
- Strong work ethic and self-motivation

Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
Job Range Target:
Minimum: $73,493.81 USD
Median: $98,733.50 USD
