- The Propulsion Engineering Intern will be involved in propeller modeling and design, contributing to the vehicle's propulsion system. - Responsibilities include electric motor modeling and design, as well as high voltage distribution design. - The intern will also work on battery system modeling, attributes, and requirements. - Propulsion testing will be a key part of the role, ensuring the system operates safely and effectively. - The position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on zero-emission, high-speed seagliders.

- The ideal candidate is pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering. - A strong proficiency in Computer-Aided Design and Engineering drawing is essential for success in this role. - Candidates should have experience with data and modeling analysis, particularly using Labview, MATLAB Simulink, or similar programs. - Familiarity with programming languages such as Python and tools like Microsoft Excel or MATLAB is highly desirable. - Hands-on experience in engineering-related extracurricular programs or as a mechanic or technician will be beneficial.
