Building Operations Technician III (2nd Shift)

We are seeking a Building Operations Technician III (2nd Shift) to join our Building Operations team. In this role, you will perform lab equipment installations and equipment maintenance for all Regeneron owned & managed equipment within our vivarium and R&pD labs.

As a Building Operations Technician III, a typical day might include:

• Providing service support for all critical lab equipment, including troubleshooting and repairing discrepancies of all lab and critical lab support equipment
• Providing 24/7 emergency response for equipment and site emergencies
• Working with outside contractors and/or building management personnel on repairs and maintenance to associated mechanical/electrical/plumbing systems (MEP) within restricted laboratories
• Maintaining mechanical equipment while monitoring physical plant performance for disparate R&pD labs and animal care facilities
• Responding to all Rees, Pulse and BMS alarms in regard to lab support equipment
• Installing new equipment and utilizing various building systems to monitor equipment performance
• Participating in AAALAC and IACUC inspections and performs duties in accordance with those standards

In order to be considered for this role, you must have at least a HS diplomas and 4 years of relevant technical building operations experience. An Associate's degree will also be considered. Must have a valid driver's license recognized by New York State. Must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Experience troubleshooting Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs) and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs). Must have experience working with electrical and mechanical systems. Experience with 3-phase motors and large pumps is strongly preferred.

Salary Range (hourly): $29.81 - $46.63
