The Linear Motion Division is a major contributor to the Segment, with approximately 1,500 global associates and $400M in revenue. There are 10 main sites located across the United States, Mexico, the Caribbean, & Europe. The Area Sales Manager (ASM) is responsible for driving revenue growth across all customer accounts in Southern Europe, both directly and through distribution channels. With a strong focus on developing Distributor and OEM relationships, the role influences purchasing decisions, expands share in new and existing designs, and delivers sustainable sales results through collaborative, solution-focused selling.

Required Education & Experience:
BA/BS in Industrial Technologies, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Business, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered such as; Proven experience in outside technical sales within an industrial or manufacturing environment, preferably involving motion control or electromechanical products. 3+ years of outside technical sales experience; motion control experience with motors/drives/controls preferred; strong mechanical aptitude.
Skills & Competencies:
Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills. Advanced analytical, organizational, and project management capabilities. Ability to lead, influence, and motivate cross-functional teams without direct authority. Working knowledge of CRM systems, Policy Deployment, 80/20 methodologies, forecasting, and reporting tools. Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with Power BI, Teams, and Excel preferred. Strong work ethic, proactive communication style, and comfort engaging in courageous conversations.
Location & Travel:
Ideal candidate will reside in the EMEA region; other locations may be considered. Travel requirement: up to 50%, including willingness and ability to travel by all forms of transportation.
