A smart Analytical Engineer to work with Torsional vibrations Analysis team to select torsionally suitable coupling for all the marine, industrial, energy sector applications.
Roles And Responsibilities
Very strong knowledge on Dynamics and Vibrations, to perform Torsional Vibration analysis.
Understanding of mass elastic data for the Engine, Gearbox, Generators, hydraulic pumps, propeller, torsional soft/stiff couplings (CENTA couplings).
Building the complete driveline as a lumped mass system from given mass elastic data of the complete driveline with help of the Inhouse software.
Perform analytical calculations from the given customer data documents/drawing
Understanding engineering drawings from customer as well as our internal Design team.
Understanding Excel based tools (EXCEL VBA tools) to work with the 2-mass calculation for the quick coupling selection and Carbon fiber shaft design.
Follow established technical documents/procedures (SOPs) to maintain the consistency in TVA/TVC/FRP reports for global Customers.
Good written and communication skills for documenting and writing SOPs and communicating with application engineers and customer for pending information.
Peer check for the TVA/TVC/FRP reports generated by self and others.
Follow/Implementing new regulations for key customers and Documentation of such new procedures/regulations for future reference.
Liaison with internal and external stakeholder for having relevant data and information.
Job Specification: (Education, Training And Experience)
Postgraduate (MTech) from reputed institute in mechanical engineering having Dynamics and Vibrations as one of their core subjects.
0-1 Years' experience in mechanical engineering domain.
Proficient in Engineering Dynamics and Vibrations.
Proficient in Excel VBA based tools.
A quick understanding with all sorts of engineering documents (engines documents, generator documents, propeller documents, Hydraulic Pump, coupling catalogs).
Understanding Propulsion driveline components, Generator drivelines components, automobile drivelines, FPTO equipment's Torsional couplings and all the other rotary equipment's.
Need to be precise with engineering calculations.
Familiarity with Marine, industrial, rail energy applications.
Quick learner for new software.
Should be able to prepare technical presentations, documents, and Reports.
