Account Manager

Within the Regal Rexnord Industrial Powertrain Solutions Segment, the Account Manager, reporting to the Sales Manager, is responsible for managing an assigned account base and developing new accounts in Indonesia. The main responsibility of this position is to meet the orders intake target through planned strategies, which involve understanding markets and sales processes, performing daily sales activities to build relationships with customers, addressing customer issues and quality matters, supporting business growth, and proactively seeking new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Drive business development and implement sales initiatives to achieve consistent revenue growth, secure new customer acquisitions, and maintain strategic alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Manage distributor partnerships to expand business opportunities and increase share-of-wallet.
  • Oversee product consolidation and channel strategies; foster cross-selling and powertrain solution opportunities by coordinating communication among distributors, referred OEMs, end users, RRX industry teams, and divisions.
  • Utilise disciplined selling processes to meet quotas, including purposeful account planning, effective time and territory management, funnel opportunity management/CRM proficiency, and value-added solution selling.
  • Provide management with insights on market trends and competitive dynamics to support the evaluation of emerging opportunities.
  • Enhance internal processes and improve local customer support.
  • Address customer concerns and coordinate quality topics to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Identify customer needs and connect them with relevant products and services.
  • Deliver sales and product overview training sessions to customers to promote competency and awareness.

Experience and Skill Required

  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in a solutions-selling environment in B2B industry dealing with OEM, End-Users and Distributors. Industrial manufacturing or powertrain industry experience preferred and BA/BS Industrial Technologies/Mech. Eng./Industrial Distribution or related field
  • Good written and oral English skill
  • Strong ownership and good attitude; Strong technical and mechanical aptitude
  • Goal oriented/results driven; Highly organized with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong computer experience required: MS Office, CRM software, Outlook
  • Work experience in a multi-national organization would be preferred
  • Travel: 50%
