We're seeking a Principal Engineer to take a leading role in shaping the future of cinema experiences. This role goes beyond writing code — it's about defining architecture, setting engineering standards, and influencing the technology that reaches millions of moviegoers. You'll serve as both a hands-on developer and a technical leader, guiding teams to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable platforms.

What Will You Be Doing?

• System Architecture: Design and evolve microservices-based, API-first platforms powering commerce, marketing, and loyalty features.
• Technical Leadership: Define engineering standards, conduct architecture reviews, and drive continuous improvement across teams.
• Platform Collaboration: Partner with DevOps and Security peers to ensure reliability, observability, and security.
• Mentorship & Enablement: Coach senior engineers, encourage knowledge sharing, and cultivate technical excellence.
• Operational Excellence: Establish key metrics, automate workflows, and apply agile methodologies to optimize delivery.
• Core Development: Contribute directly through hands-on coding in both front-end frameworks and back-end services.

About You

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 5 in senior technical leadership roles.
• Proven track record designing and delivering large-scale, cloud-native applications on AWS or Azure with Kubernetes.
• Expertise in front-end frameworks and robust API development.
• Strong understanding of microservices, multi-tenant architectures, CI/CD pipelines, and secure development practices.
• Hands-on experience with performance tuning, observability, and monitoring in production.
• Excellent communication skills — able to bridge technical and business conversations.
