Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Promotes maximum level of guest service according to Red Hawk's Guest Service program guidelines by assisting guests with merchandise selection and/or purchase, promoting and recommending specific items, handling exchanges, and redeeming complimentary items.
• Responds to guest complaints and/or inquiries promptly and courteously.
• Ensures the following tasks are assigned, monitored, and completed: maintains a clean and neat store, tags merchandise correctly, displays merchandise, and stores extra merchandise in a neat and organized manner.
• Responsible for oversight of the Travel Center by ensuring policies and procedures are supported, including Point of Sale register procedures, and cash control policies and procedures.
• Assists Travel Center Supervisor and Manager with assigned duties and serves as a backup in their absence for all closing procedures.
• Keeps the Supervisor & Manager apprised of the daily retail operations, such as guests issues, team member issues, inventory levels, and sales information.
• Maintains a working knowledge of current and upcoming changes in order to advise guests and team members.
• Held accountable for the thoroughness and accuracy of Travel Center records under his/her control, including the filling out and completion of all documents.
• Assists in all merchandise being accurately inventoried regularly and ensures that proper inventory control is maintained.
• Assists with monthly inventory process.
• Maintains a thorough working knowledge of retail products, where Travel Center merchandise is stored.
• Serves as a back up to cover shift schedules as necessary.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous retail experience preferred.
