The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a Strategic Account Manager with experience selling high-tech offerings and services to join us, covering the Health & Human Service (HHS) - NIH & CDC agencies. In this role, you will work to increase Red Hat's market share and revenue. You'll be a key part of our Field Sales team and work the CMS agency. You'll be responsible for building new relationships and expanding and improving business with existing customers, as well as all aspects of the sale, including pricing negotiations, contract development, and order fulfillment. As a Strategic Account Manager, you will also be responsible for managing internal associates like sales engineering support and technical support. You'll need to be comfortable working with partner sales and services teams as well as IT and business executives, using your extensive experience developing and implementing sales plans. Successful applicants must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business.

The salary range for this position is $207,500.00 - $342,400.00 (inclusive of base pay + target incentive compensation). Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.
Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat's compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
