HR Generalist - Talent Acquisition

Bilingual English and Spanish

Pompano Beach, FL (Hybrid - On-site 3-4 days per week)

$100K to $120K Salary plus benefits

We are seeking a proactive and experienced HR Generalist with strong Talent Acquisition skills to lead HR & Recruitment efforts across both salaried and hourly roles, with a strong focus on direct labor hiring for our automotive assembly operations. This role supports core HR functions including benefits administration, onboarding, and employee relations. The ideal candidate has worked at a larger company and has learned best-in-class talent acquisition practices but is also comfortable in smaller, fast-growing organizations. We want someone who is passionate about building high-performing teams, enhancing employee experience, and driving operational excellence in a dynamic, high-growth production-driven environment.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition in an assembly, manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Demonstrates strong ownership and sense of urgency; able to independently spearhead projects with minimal direction or check-ins from management.
  • Working knowledge of HR practices including benefits administration, onboarding, and employee relations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage across all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with HRIS and ATS systems; capable of assessing
  • Familiarity with OSHA, FMLA, ADA, and other employment regulations specific to the State of Florida (preferred but not required)

Talent Acquisition Responsibilities:

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for direct labor, technical, and professional roles across multiple manufacturing sites.
  • Partner with plant managers, production supervisors, and department heads to forecast hiring needs and develop sourcing strategies.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates through job fairs, community outreach, digital platforms, and workforce development partnerships.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal hiring policies, including EEO and diversity initiatives.
  • Track and report recruitment metrics to drive continuous improvement.

HR Operations Responsibilities:

  • Administer employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, 401(k), and leave policies; serve as point of contact for employee inquiries.
  • Coordinate and execute onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring smooth integration into the company and compliance with safety and training protocols.
  • Support employee relations by addressing concerns, conducting investigations, and promoting a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Assist with policy updates, compliance audits, and HR documentation.
