✨ About The Role

- Collaborate with a team of software engineers to develop and maintain Reddit's data warehouse infrastructure - Engage in the complete data lifecycle at Reddit, working with extensive and data-rich datasets - Design, build, and deliver end-to-end data solutions to enhance the reliability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of Reddit's Data Platform - Implement automation for key elements of the development process, including data quality, managing alerts, and handling critical infrastructure operations - Guide and support fellow engineers within the team, serving as a mentor and contributing to knowledge sharing through training sessions and documentation

âš¡ Requirements

- Experienced software engineer with at least 5-8 years in a production setting, proficient in Python, Scala, and SQL languages like BigQuery, SparkSQL, or Postgres - Skilled in designing and implementing large-scale systems, monitoring project progress, and demonstrating proactive leadership on diverse projects - Familiar with cloud services, terraform, airflow, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and modern cloud-based infrastructure - Excellent communicator able to collaborate effectively within a team and across the organization - Passionate about building and maintaining high-quality code, improving strategic decision-making, and applying engineering best practices to large datasets
