✨ About The Role
- Collaborate with a team of software and systems engineers to create and maintain the foundational platform for running Reddit's infrastructure
- Develop reliable and efficient workflows to automate operational tasks essential for operating the critical Storage infrastructure
- Design, write, and deliver software to improve the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of Reddit's products in Golang and Python
- Contribute feedback to the technical and strategic direction of the Storage infrastructure
- Troubleshoot and analyze to understand real problems faced during scaling and changing customer workloads
âš¡ Requirements
- Experienced software engineer with 4+ years of internet-scale software development, preferably in infrastructure roles
- Proficient in Golang, Python, Java, or C++ with prior experience in Storage technologies like Redis, Memcache, Cassandra, Postgres, MySQL, or Zookeeper
- Skilled in operating large-scale critical infrastructure systems with a focus on automation and workflow development
- Excellent communicator able to collaborate effectively with a service-oriented team and company
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and contributing to the technical and strategic direction of the Storage infrastructure
